I am committed to building strong character and instilling self-confidence in my athletes in a supportive environment. The focus of Tormenta is to prepare our players for life by instilling life lessons through the vehicle of volleyball. I have assisted with growing and developing many volleyball programs throughout my career. I’m beyond excited to help grow the Tormenta Volleyball club and create a culture of true team building, character building and growth mindset and hard work. I have been coaching since 2005. I have worked with diverse populations throughout my coaching career. I began coaching at Horizon HS in 2005 as a freshman girls coach and assistant varsity coach. Since then, I have worked at high schools with varying class sizes and demographics. I am the Boulder Creek H.S. head coach for the mens volleyball program. I am a certified personal fitness coach and Health and wellness coach.

I have been an assistant coach for 3 years and a head JV coach for 1 year at Boulder Creek H.S. I am a graduate of Mountain Ridge H.S. I am an active Phoenix Valor professional indoor player and am looking forward to sharing my volleyball knowledge with my players. I will also share my experience and growth as a former student-athlete.

I played club volleyball in high school and continued to play 4 years collegiately where I was surrounded by talented coaches and lifelong mentors. After graduation, I coached for two different club teams in the Midwest Region and was a volleyball referee in my free time. My family, husband and three boys, moved from St. Louis to Phoenix 6 years ago. In St. Louis, opportunities were everywhere for boys’ volleyball. When my sons expressed interest in the sport a couple years ago, I was struggling to find organizations in our local area. It is an honor to be a part of this new club program in North Phoenix. I am excited to share my knowledge and life lessons learned through volleyball.
